My ice maker in my fridge gave up and the rest of the fridge was going strong. Based on the price to fix it, or replace the entire fridge, this was a better bargain! We go from water to ice cubes in 10 minutes. Smad makes a high quality ice machine that is consistently cranking out great ice that is readily available. It's easy to fill and scoop out the ice. We're thinking about getting one for camp. We seem to always have to run out for bags of ice up there. It was easy to set up and use. Just do remember to let it settle for a bit before you plug it in. It gives me two options for sizes of bullet ice cubes. The fan size does need room to work, so don't set it too close to anything. 10 out of 10 very pleased with Smad's ice maker. This would make a great gift for anyone who entertains a lot of wants an extra bit of ice for a party or if they have an old fridge with no ice maker. We're already thinking about getting another!
