At the beginning, I think it should be sturdy, but after using only two times it started cracking.. so disappointed.I used this three times and the metal interior warped and will not remain open to roll up your hair. Third order and all have done this!It did not bend & snap as advertisedNice to have but it does not work well with my hairThis review is for: Hair Bun Maker Magic, French Twist Hairstyle Tool DIY Women Girls Donut Doughnuts Hair Crown Shapers (2 Pack, Small Size, Brown)…I found this 2 pack hair bun maker to be a pretty nice set specially if you have long hair but not too thick. I ordered the small pack because I have fine hair. This was pretty easy to make a bun if you follow the directions on the package. The two plastic pieces where you squish your hair into were pretty tight when it came to rolling up the hair.My only issue was that there were some fibers that were loose making it not look perfect when yours unrolled, however you cannot see it once the hair is rolled into it.I am a fan of putting my excessively long hair into buns and this worked fairly well for that. It's worth a try on your hair.I think for the price, these are 5-star gadgets. They pretty much do what they say, although "results vary" with your hair type and length. If you used slap-bracelts as a kid, then you sort of know how these work. They're straight metal (?) strips that snap into a stiff circle shape when bent. The exterior is coated in a shiny brown fiber wrap, which ends up disappearing in the hair really well. Mine are brown. There are two snap-strips connected by a flexible piece of cloth. You slip the ends of your hair between the two strips and then roll it up towards your scalp. Once it's rolled all the way, a gentle bend will snap it into a circle, pulling all your hair around with it.I have super long, thin, fine, slippery, straight hair. I put mine in a ponytail with a rubber band first. The hardest part for me was reaching the ends of my hair, because its so long, my arms wouldn't quite reach. So, some of my hair was kinda folded over before I started rolling. It still worked, but maybe not as tidy or tight as it would have if I'd had shorter hair (or longer arms? Where do I get those?).It does seem to hold securely, and it's not uncomfortable. You get two gadgets total and some simple instructions inside a narrow ziplock bag. Unfortunately, they don't have colors that match blonde or red or gray hair.I have long, thick, straight hair and I can not live without these bun makers! I ordered several expensive ones in the past and the synthetic hair always unravels after a couple months of use. I've worn these a 4-5 times and they appear to be holding up well.It does take some trial and error to get the bun just right. It depends on the length of your hair, the thickness, and how tight you want the bun. Practice, practice, practice and I promise these create the easiest classic bun for all occasions! I like putting my hair in pigtails and using two of these to create two little buns, so I'm excited that this set came with two at an excellent price!
