This is what I was looking for, but I was only able to make one part of a full batch of cookies. When loading the batter/dough for a second round, the spring for the press stopped catching and I can not get it back to working order. Will keep trying, but it may need to be a loss. But it will be tough.I have used cookie presses all my life and this is impossible to use. It appears that you can change thickness of the cookie, but impossible to adjust. You have to have one hand on the top of the press and sometimes press 4-8 times for each cookie. All thicknesses different. A total waste. Unfortunately I did not try it out before I could get a refund. Do not purchase this itemCracked plastic parts made the "WELTOP cookie press gun set" nonfunctional right out of the box. The white parts which would move inside the cylinder were grey from abraded metal. I doubt it would be food safe, if it were working.Instead of buying this "WELTOP" we should have thrown the money DOWN the WELL. At least we could have seen it fly for a bit.I bought two; one for me and a gift for my sister. The first time I used mine the pump broke in half making it useless. My sister's cookie plates were already bent and could not be straightened out. Unbelievable!!!!the mechanism isn't airtight, the dough oozes from the sides of the machine and the sides of the plates. tried to return it for a refund but it's from china and the seller makes you pay to return it. it'll cost more to send it back, than i'd be getting back from the refund. waste of time and money. beware!May do fine for light batters but failed on my cheese straw dough. Front kept popping off while I was piping. Very frustrating! I would return it, but the cutoff for returns was last month. I would appreciate a reply from the company.Great for baking with the kids.It works so great I love baking with this icing kit.
