Love it! Works. GreatI love this cocoa maker! I used to have a different brand, but it was recalled a few years ago. I finally found this one, and it’s really good! The only thing my other one has that I truly miss is a maintain mode. It would automatically shut off when the cocoa reached the right temperature, then occasionally turn back on to reheat what was still in the pitcher to maintain the proper heat. The only other itty bitty downside is that I really have to scrub the edges of this with a brush to clean it. Some of the cocoa always sort of bakes into the edges, and a sponge doesn’t work to get it out. Even so, I love this and have already bought it for two others.After a month of using, I feel I can give a better review. It is easy enough to use: add milk, add chocolate, turn it on. For a family, the 4 cups of milk is nice since kids have a hard time waiting for anything. The spigot is nice, if only it didn't drip incessantly the moment you add the milk--be sure to have something there to catch the drips. The only two options to turn it on is "froth" and "heat froth". This is great if you want 3 inches of foam on top of your drink. You get these 3 inches because it takes so long to heat up. Be careful if you like "hot" chocolate, you may get chocolate butter. Further, if you use the spigot, you don't get any of that foam, it stays behind to give you a headache while cleaning. It is really loud. It sounds like the used the smallest motor they could find that would spin, but when adding any liquid becomes very overworked.I'm okay giving it some stars because it does mix and warm chocolate--it sure beats warming and ladleing on the stove. It isn't fun to clean since the heating element is part of the pitcher. We do use it weekly and enjoy it but there are so many issues that could be improved.I have always wanted a hot chocolate maker and my husband finally got one for me for Christmas and I love it!It is hard to get completely clean though, but I still use it. That would be the only bad thing I would say about it.I used a a carton of chocolate milk instead of a powdered mix due to less fuss and time constraints on the job. It took about 10 minutes to get hot, then a couple of minutes to froth. The hot chocolate was very rich (I used almond milk) and it was delicious. It was an instant hit at the office! It holds about 32 ounces, so if you have a large gathering, you may need to buy two hot chocolate makers. Good value for the money.This was such a good purchase!! It's made doing hot cocoa as a family so much easier and more fun!!! We don't have the mess of spilling hot milk like when we'd use the stove and better tasting (and healthier) than when we used a microwave. The frothing and blend factor is particularly nice!! No more stirring and stirring to get it good and blended. It comes out of the spout popping hot (if you want it that hot!) and perfectly mixed with a smooth, frothy texture!! Lightweight and easy to use, it's perfect for your own party or to delight the host of a get together you're invited to.We love our hot chocolate machine. The only downside is it’s very loud. Like ridiculously loud. But it does make perfect hot chocolate.I can honestly say I have used this product regularly since receiving it as a Christmas gift (about 2.5 month ago). Everytime I bring it out my kids come running hoping to get some frothy hot cocoa. We just use the package mix but this great little warming blender makes it extra smooth, heated consistently, and the froth is extra yum :P I've used it for warming up breakfast shake mixes and hot apple cider as well. No doubt the noisiest appliance I have ever heard including blenders, juicers and food processors. Replaced it with the Mr. Coffee hot chocolate maker for an additional $25.00 but is a far superior featured product which is the quietest motorised appliance I have ever heard.Pretty simple but it works. It would be even better if it had a low heat and stir mode when you were done to keep things warm and mixed. The include recipes are pretty good too.So very happy with this, makes amazing hot chocolate along with other drinks.The product was damaged and leaking on the first usage, have tried contacting sellers 3 times and they won't respond or approve a refund.
