The only dislike is that the metal is real thin, the bottom metal door was bent when i took it out of the box.It was packaged well, so not sure how the piece got bent. its just real thin metal parts. The popcorn turned out great and works like it should. So far no dislike. Excellent for family movie night.I got this one because it only has one door, not two, and less plastic on the top. Works super well and is relatively easy to clean. The included stuff is quite nice; my wife loves the graphic design of the bags. Popcorn making is easy, but I would say if you're making like 2oz of popcorn, pay careful attention as it pops, it will be done quick.Best practice is to ignore the book when it says to preheat the oil. Just dump the coconut oil, the popcorn, and the Flavacol (make sure you buy some!) in the hopper all at once. The manual advises against this, but if you buy pre-made packs of oil/popcorn/salt, they say to dump it all in at once. I've done both methods and preheating oil really doesn't make it better, and not adding the salt in the kettle means it never quite has that movie theater taste.I've done Flavacol salt + my oil + my popcorn, as well as the pre-made packs, and the pre-made packs are easier, but doing everything separate is cheaper and also easy.Anyway there are a LOT of very similar machines on Amazon and it took me a while to pull the trigger. This one I have been very happy with, so buy with confidence!Smaller than I thought. Larger than the ones you can purchase at stores, but smaller than movie theater size. It is about 1/3 of a theater size machine. Makes 8 ounces of popcorn, which is about 1 1/2 large popcorn bowls. I love it, but thought it would be bigger. The popcorn popper is great ... brings back memories of going to the movies as a kid. But there is one thing you should avoid and that is using canola oil ... it will gum up the inside of the pot and the stirrer over time. I realize canola oil is healthy but use coconut oil instead, gives better flavor. if buying the packet with the oil, popcorn and flavorcol they are great but make sure they are coconut oil. for a change, crush up cheetos in a powder and use that in liu of the salt.Grand kids love it they’ve wanted one for years!! Easy for them all to use, 10 and up is my request!Very good product. Not sure why others complain about the clean up aspect. It’s not hard, takes about 15 minutes. Heated kettle comes right out. Just clean it and the interior glass at the end of the night and you’re good. It’s not hard people. If you’re too lazy to take 15 minutes to clean the unit than don’t buy this. Makes great popcorn. I bought the 40 pack of preset oil, salt, corn. Two packs takes care of a family of five. I do run it with the door about 1/2 open which keeps the condensation down on the interior glass, makes clean up easier. Just don’t open the door too much or you’ll have random kernels flying around. My husband loves popcorn and this machine is so easy to use. He makes a batch about every other day. What I dislike is that kernels fall down to the very bottom and are hard to clean out.
