I see this as my morning ritual. I was drinking instant coffee for so long and decided to switch it up to a regular type of coffee. I chose this pot over a coffee maker beacuse I feel like the plastic parts in a coffemaker are not very sanitary after a while. I literally ENJOY making my coffee each morning in this. I am careful with it beacuse it is a thin glass, but have had no issues with it as of yet. I use the metal filter as is without any paper filter and I am quick to wash it after every use and have had zero problems with it either. Definitely a good purchase. It’s perfect for my one large cup of black coffee in the morning. Great taste, easy to use, easy to clean. The end. This is a one-cup sized coffee maker. I liked the handle, which does not get hot when the carafe is filled. One thing I don't like is the smooth edge to the filter. If you over pour just a tiny bit the water and grounds spill over. I would have liked a lip that prevents easy spills. I also needed a coffee maker that held more than one cup, so I will be using this as my travel coffee maker. It’s cute and I like the concept, but you kind of have to add some water and let it drain… Add some water and let it drain… Add some water and let it drain just to get one cup of coffee.Awesome, great for travel, also bought a collapsible kettle, both fit perfect in my suitcase. Amazing coffee every time!Too small. By the time the water passes through the coffee is cold.Combined with pure water and freshly ground coffee beans, this simple set up is fantastic. This is a just-in-case carafe when you're on the run and don't want to wait for that electric coffee maker to heat and drip. Within minutes pour over the grounds with kettle hot water and there's your 2 cups on the go.
