We used 4 packets with the recommended 6.8 oz water, but we added a tablespoon of oil for 4 waffles. They were a little sticky in the waffle iron even with the oil, but they released ok. We were pleasantly surprised at how great they tasted. Different, but not bad... when compared to regular brand waffles. The packets are a great option for a single person on a low carb/low fat diet. Since there's only seven packets in the box, we will have to settle for a waffle and a half each next time. Oh the horror! [We have not made pancakes with this mix.]
