I hung this suncatcher in my front window of my dining room, and in the afternoons it's heavenly to enjoy!Please note that the crystals do not have the rainbow effect, but there is a piece of plastic attached to the crystals that has the rainbow effect on it.If you face that side of the crystals away from you, the rainbow effect works perfectly.Also, the hanging strands had some kinks in them, and I just hung it from a shelf, and I carefully undid each strand and untwisted it, and then reattached it.I would purchase this item again because it is beautiful in the sunlight!I bought this as a test for a cute stocking stuffer for my late teens and adult children and their significant others. It is SUPER CUTE! It doesn’t have a suction cup, it has “hook” so I actually hung it on a bookshelf. It’s well made, hangs evenly and well, AND it’s SUPER CUTE!!I will be buying several more for gifts and stocking stuffers!I really love these and have bought multiple sets for different rooms. They add such a great flair to an otherwise plain boho bedroom or rustic office (where I used them anyway)! Definitely will buy more of these!!This is not plastic. It is stunningly beautiful and sparkly in the sunshine, even though I'm in Pittsburgh and haven't seen more than 15 minute of sun in the past month....
