This ice machine is much better than the bullet style. The "cubes" are harder and clear The machine works just like the big machines. It produces ice at about the same rate as the bullet machines. The scoop is a little useless, I just pull the basket and bag it for the freezer. I didn't care for the drain so I made a fitting and a shutoff valve so I don't have to keep moving it around. The lack of that feature did not affect my overall opinion. A great little investment.
