I purchased the hot air popper to avoid bad ingredients in bagged microwave popcorn. While the popper makes lots of fresh popcorn, it comes out of the popper hopper all over the counter. I use a dish cloth to keep the popped popcorn in the bowl.Perhaps a better design would keep the popcorn in the bowl and not on the counter.***Update, they replaced the popper and the new one has worked ok. It can only make one batch then you have to let it cool off for 15 minutes or the second batch will cause it to overheat and shutdown mid batch. This doesn’t work for us as we usually need at least a double batch. ***Worked six times then sizzled and smelled of burned electronics after 91 days. Designed to fail immediately after Amazon return window closes in my experience. Buyer beware.Blower motor too powerful. I love making popcorn with itMy previous hot air popper died on me- lasted a few years. Bought this one and my issue is that 1/3 to 1/2 of the kernels come out into the bowl un-popped. Did not happen with my previous (different) machine. I use the measuring cup to ensure I don’t put too much in but has happened every time I use it.Spit half the popcorn all over the counter(outside the bowl) and of what did get into the bowl about one third of it was unpopped.
