It’s user friendly printing is better than most.battery was dead on arrival ...has never recovered - expected moreI only used it probably 25 times in over a year and then the motor stopped working. It cannot be repaired.Does an outstanding job I gave it 4 stars because I did not see anything on the site that stated this was not comparable with regular Dymo Industrial label cartridges. You must use the Dymo XTL tape cartridges which are more expensive. Machine is very nice and works well packaged is a good case.I was able to label all my A/V cables and nicely organize my sound booth using this label maker. Highly recommend for a variety of labeling needs.Good range of printing options, label material options are not very extensive yet. It is fairly intuitive to use and extremely easy to load and remove label media. Unlike other labelers I've used, it doesn't make you waste media when changing to a different type of labelEven though I knew it wasn't compatible with OS X the Windows software program if pretty useless. If you only want a few labels now and then it's good but if you want to make a lot of labels the software needs to be improved considerably and a Mac version made available. In terms of printing, the one I have is almost always blotchy on the first label but consistently good on subsequent labels.This labelmaker really disappoints. It regularly fails on printing 1/4" heat shrink tube via jamming. The heat shrink cartridges are also getting REALLY expensive, over 50USD per. Nuts. Buy the RHINO 5200 instead. Much cheaper cartridges, less complicated, and just better.It's Great and fast to use. Just like the other reviews it works very well.NEGATIVES 1ST then positives.-The tape which has the backer split in the middle, causes a crease in the label (yes, it's super easy to peel but I would avoid this type of tape). This crease causes the to print to be faded or no print at all. This is a huge issue with wire lables where the printer repeats and the font is small. Even with a standard label the crease causes the lettering to be faded or all together missed.POSITIVES-fast-easy to see-what the screen displays is what it prints.-you will love the software for labeling data panels and larger projects.-The ability to print on the larger labels means you can tag wires that need a little more info (great for the service guys N gals) Other than that, all you cable guysn gals, electrician's, data guru's, access control and alarm dudes and dudettes will not be disappointed.ENJOYIt's bigger and heavier than I expected, but it works great. Feels sturdy and tough. Comes with a protective case. Comes with 1" vinyl tape, and 1" pre-sized labels. Lots of customisable options. Makes labelling patch panels and cables super easy.Thin line through centre battery charge is minimal and loses charge through a few days. Not impressed at all. As mentioned prior not for professional use. Is advertised for the pros and can not recommend. Will be referring back to company and Amazon about purchase.
