There were no instructions or anything other than a small plastic piece and a screw in the box the product arrived in so it's a good thing I kept the old ice maker. It does fit and works great, however you need to remove the wiring harness from the OEM unit that runs from the old icemaker gearbox/drive unit area under the heating coil to use the new unit.
