I bought these to go along with the same brand friendship bracelet maker for my daughters (ages 9 & 11) Christmas. I didn't expect too much because a lot of the thread on the market for friendship bracelets is thin, ratty, and of pretty poor quality. This, however, was absolutely amazing! Each of the packets for the string are nicely packaged, with each color being very vibrant and almost silky to feel. The true test came when both of my daughters began making bracelets for the first time. This is where the quality really showed. A lot of first time bracelet makers can get confused with instructions and need to pick out knots and start again. If you do it with really poor quality string it just kind of disintegrates and unravels as you try to pick out your knots. This stuff did not! It was really easy for them to pick out the knots and to have the string lay back down as if it had not already been used.
