For *yet another* new pandemic hobby, I decided to teach myself to knit using round looms. I picked these due to the reviews and the variety that are in the kit, and was pleasantly surprised by the heft and sturdiness of them. My first project was a pair of leg warmers for my 6yo. They turned out shockingly well, and the flaws were all due to me not knowing what I was doing, no fault to the loom. I bought a used book on Amazon with instructions and patters, and I’m trying a hat next. They really are fun to use!I am really enjoying these looms. I started loom knitting using the smaller gage looms, but needed larger gage looms for certain patterns I wanted to try. These looked like the best option for me at a very nice price. They feel sturdy in the hand, but I took away one star because some of the pegs feel loose and I may need to glue them in place. I’d hate for one to pop off in the middle of a project. So far I’ve made a mini dog scarf for my dog, a set of slippers and some hats. It’s very easy to learn to loom knit and there are some great “how to” videos out there. Loomahat has great videos! If you’re interested in loom knitting, these are a nice beginning set.I liked that my item arived on time. The product is well made and doesn't feel or look cheap. The thickness of the looms are excellent and so are the other items inside the box. My only complaint is one of the pompom makers has a broken piece and I don't know if that makes it unusable or not. All in all the product exceeded all my expectations.I was nervous about giving these looms a try. So easy to use. I found a ton of videos online to learn new stitches. I’m hooked (sorry for the pun)!The looms worked great. I was able to teach my granddaughters to use them (10 & 12 years old). The pompom makers are on the cheap side but work. The girls had a blast making pompoms with them.Missing part of the yellow loom. But over all the rest of the kit is all here. This should be fun…..Most of it was good. Largest long loom had a peg missing and another fell off but I was able to glue it back on. But the one missing wasn't even in the box. Not a big issue. It's plastic.most of the looms are fine. the largest loom is bent in the center. it makes it hard to use and the tension is off
