This is my first ceramic pan and i ordered after reading the reviews. It is amzaing, total non stick even when I cooked my sticky sausages( sausages cooked with honey) the pan just wiped clean after, no soaking required. It is also very quick to heat cutting down cooking times.Unlike other frying pans this one has some weight to it and you don't ahve to worry about it balancing on the hob.Now looking to get the rest of the range. In an update to the above review-I have now had my pan for approx 3months, the handle has fallen off and it is no longer non stick!!I have not been throwing the pan arround or hitting anyone arround the head so no reason for the handle to come off. We did try to tighten the screws but they had become rusty and a screw driver just couldn't turn them. The pan became un non stick after about 2 months, not sure why as I had been taking good care to make sure I washed it straight away after use with the scrubing pads for non stick pans! Will not be purchasing the rest of the range, but will invest in a betting quality ceramic pan as while it worked it was amazing.I had great difficulty tracking down one of these Ecocook pans. The first purchase from an Amazon trader turned out to be a 'Your kitchen hero' pan and was returned. The second purchase from another trader turned out to be an unbranded '24cm Frying pan' (identical to the 'Your kitchen hero' pan) and was returned. After extensive correspondence with Premier Housewares, I managed to track down a genuine Ecocook pan and it is completely different to the copies I received previously. It is much more solidly built. It has a stainless steel base, adding weight and rigidity and making it suitable for use on induction hobs (as stated on the label, but surprisingly not mentioned in the Amazon product details). The copy pan is lighter as it is all-aluminium. The handle is hard and doesn't have the soft rubbery feel of the copies but I would guess is much more heatproof. The colour is also a deeper red than the copies. It's a quality pan!I have only used it once so far but it passed the 'fried egg with no oil' test with no sticking at all.If you receive or have received a pan that doesn't fit the description here, it's not a Premier Housewares Ecocook pan but a Chinese copy. This may explain some of the poor reviews, especially the recent ones, as I believe there are few genuine pans in stock at the moment. Buyer beware!brought this pan after researching reviews on this type of fry-pan, reviews were good so went ahead and purchased, well to say I am blown away with this pan is an understatement it is as described and to clean it is a breeze, my first test was to fry eggs without any fat or oil, they cooked great and just slid straight out of the pan, (they also tasted better) next cooked tomatoes there was some what appeared to be staining on the pan after taking the tomatoes out,but after allowing the pan to cool and using warm soapy water as instructed the so called stains just washed away.We use this pan a lot more than we used the old type pan and get better tasting and healthier cooking, my wife thinks I have lost my mind as now I like to do the washing-up just because I love the way this pan comes clean and still looks brand new.If you are looking for a non stick fry-pan look no further this is as good if not better than the higher priced pans. And yes the delivery was well within timeAll in all a very good product and good supplier very pleased all roundUPDATE 21/1/14 pan still cooks well but the non stick part is no longer non stick, which is a shame, as to start with I was very pleased with the pan, but not so happy now maybe should have gone for a different manufacturer, but then again hindsight is always 20/20We were initially pleased with this pan........... it cooked lovely but after a short while I noticed some of my food wasn't cooking very well !! Eggs were sticking to the point they couldn't be redeemed and on pancake day....... I found that the pancakes were turning out terribly when I always make lovely pancakes !! The pan got worse and worse and eventually we threw it away and replaced with a Teflon pan. Cooking back to the standard my family have come to appreciate :-) I wouldn't buy this again and it wasn't money well spent as we only had it a few months and don't fry that much to say it was used heavily. This is the best frying pan I have used! Oil, charred food etc, simply wipe off. Washing-up liquid and a quick rinse with a sponge or cloth leaves it sparkling like new. I'd love another for camping trips. Also after using once or twice its clear that the non-stick coating is smoother and tougher than similar Teflon/PTFE coated pans. Highly recommended, cleaning my frying pan is now satisfying, not a chore!
