This item fit perfectly in my Gen 1 Opal ice maker. I bought this originally off of Indiegogo in 2015, and the original filter screen finally rusted out. I usually use filters, but this is needed to descale and clean the icemaker. I only need one, but as long as the icemaker has lasted I suppose it doesn't hurt to have three!Buy with confidence.
