I love the color and nice hot coffeeI love the look of my new turquoise green coffee maker! It is so pretty sitting out on my countertop. It makes good coffee and does so quietly. It isn’t too large as it only holds about 4 cups of coffee. It works for people who don’t need a lot of coffee. My husband and I each get 2 cups of coffee. We are trying to cut down. This was a birthday gift and my sister loves it. It makes great coffee and is very pleasing to the eye on the style of the coffeepot.Beautiful adds class to kitchenSo adorable, almost a perfect match to my microwave. Works great.I got this coffee pot a few months back and waited before submitting a review. We are very pleased with its performance so far. It's nice to have our coffee ready and waiting when we get up! And it always tastes great. The filter basket that's included is also really nice. We still use a paper filter, but the little basket catches anything that manages to get away so we don't have grounds in our cups.To clean it, I simply add about two tablespoons of bleach to a full pot of cold water and run it through. I then run another pot of cold water through it to clear out any aftertaste. It removes any stains on the lid and freshens the water reservoir. Setting the timer seems to be a bit tricky... but I leave that to my husband. One thing I have to say is the led display is very bright at night. You won't need a night light in the kitchen with this little guy on the job!We have enjoyed this coffee pot and hope it will continue to function well. I can definitely recommend it.UNFORTUNATELY, there is a drawback that I had with this coffee maker. The burner/hot plate became corroded/rusted after like 4 months of use : (. I wanted too mention to the seller but the seller is not willing to help me in any way!I've been using my beautiful new Haden for several weeks now. I must say, the looks and the small footprint are the best things about it. It also works as described. I love the fact that you don't have to use the washable filter that comes with it. When it gets worn out, just use a regular #4 cone filter. That's what I've been using - I'm saving my washable filter for the future. After reading reviews about the spring part coming off the bottom of the filter-holder, I've just been really careful when cleaning, and have had no problems with it breaking. The only real cons I have are: when the coffee first drips out, it needs to sit on the burner for several minutes before getting hot enough. It may be a problem for impatient coffee drinkers like me who, when I don't happen to program the timer in advance, like to grab a cup before the whole pot is brewed. Also a complaint is, when you do remove the pot to get an advance cup, you can count on coffee dripping out. What I do to keep the heating plate dry is carefully remove the pot and quickly put a paper towel on the plate to catch the drips. Drips of coffee invariably get on the plate, so I always clean it when cool, before brewing the next pot.I'm not a good reviewer on the flavor of this brewed coffee because I always add flavored sweetener to my cup.Except for the excellent looks, smaller footprint and more expensive price, this coffee machine is comparable to my Mr. Coffee, which I replaced when the heating plate got worn out from me cleaning it so much. But I like it a lot, as I do just about any coffee, LOL.Bought because wanted something that hopefully wouldn't catch fire, and they do. lucky it was the day and we were able to catch it in time. Made in England hope no china parts but it is a $60.00 value there is not much to it. UPDATE 7 months later coffee all over the counter. Water hose to heater got brittle and cracked from the heat. Poor quality silicone hose used.Consistently the pause pour function fails and makes a mess if you try to get coffee before it finishes.Even cleaning both the filter and the funnel will end up with it happening.People who buy this are more interested in formover function. Given the choice I would have bought my old Cuisinart coffee makerHmm..just got it and the filter basket fell apart during the first wash. The spring is held in place by a cheap little washer. We’re gonna keep it but interested to find out how many washers I end up going through.I bought this coffee machine because I like the look of it the reviews seem to be good… A little disappointed because for $100 it does not seem like $100 coffee machine it seems more like a $30 coffee machine… It’s not very sturdy it’s easy to knock over just by touching it… I would not buy it again I’ve only used it once the coffee was good so I guess we’ll see… I did see some reviews on here that said that it broke quickly and yeah I can see it… I have a cruising heart that I paid roughly the same amount of money for and it’s very sturdy not like this one at all… I would not recommend it for $100 I’m sure you can buy a better oneOver all works and looks great! easy to set up ,but way over priced. It’s all plastic. Also bought the matching toaster and electric kettle which aren’t plastic. They work great too!
