These taste good and are a nice gluten-free option! If sweet vanilla is your thing then this is the pancake mix for you. If not, well, I'd recommend trying a more neutral formulation as this will not suit you. I was unable to finish the package given how strong the tastes of sweet sugary vanilla permeated the end product; but again, if that is your taste profile this should be a real winner!OK. I've been experimenting with my own gluten-free pancake recipes for over a year now, and I'm going to stop experimenting. That's because I'm just going to buy the pancake mix from Stonewall Kitchen and call it a day. They are so good, and exactly like anything you would want in a pancake - ANY pancake, not "a gluten-free pancake." Or, "a vegan pancake." This mix just made amazing pancakes, end of sentence. Rather than following the box directions, here is how I prepared them to be vegan.2 cups Stonewall Kitchen GF mix2 prepared psyllium eggs (1/4 cup water mixed separately with 2 Tblesp. psyllium husks powder)2 cups light oat, almond, or other plant milk1 Tblesp apple cider vinegar1 cup or more H2O2 Tblesp melted vegan butter2 Tblesp runny tahiniAdd your prepared psyllium husk eggs. Add the apple cider vinegar into the plant milk. Add this to your mix, along with the water, stir, then add the butter and tahini. I aimed for a batter that was smooth and moving, but not very watery or runny. Adjust with a little more filtered water, or a little more mix either way. Whisk until smooth, and cook over not too high heat. I keep them warm in a 250° oven, and served them with Just Egg scramble, and Hilary's Eatwell and Beyond Meat sausage. My new favorite fruit side is fresh pineapple and grapes - still mostly frozen so that they taste like popsicles. This mix isn't cheap, but it's one of those things that I think is totally worth it. Best pancakes ever, just my personal humble opinion. So these are not as gritty as I feared based on some of the reviews, or the most amazing ever based on other reviews. Keeping in mind that I did not follow the directions at all - I used buttermilk instead of milk or water, and I think I used the pancake recipe for the waffle maker. This probably made the batter thicker than it should be, but I believe it also gave them good flavor and might have reduced the grittiness. I actually didn't find them gritty, but they were still pretty dry (like most gluten free products are). The syrup largely masked the dryness. I think I still like Pamela's brand the best, but this is a solid second place because Pamela's is much more complicated and has more required ingredients. This brand was super easy, just adding eggs and milk or water, depending on whether you are doing the waffles or the pancakes. I think I will definitely use this again if craving waffles or pancakes, but I don't think I'll ever specifically crave these waffles or pancakes (if that makes sense).I buy a lot the the Stonewall Kitchen products. Haven't found one I didn't like. As a celiac I have purchased a lot of different pancake/waffle mixes. This one is by far the best!Best GF pancake mix on the market. I think stonewall has a winner here, not grainy like other GF products are.It was made upside down.Hard to find a good tasting gluten free pancake and waffle mix.Did not like the smell of these pancakes. Were a bit mealy but cooked up well.Buoni !!!!Ottimo prodotto senza glutine, senza nulla togliere ad un pancake con glutine
