I really like my Kitchen Aid sparkling beverage maker! I love the red color, How easy it is to use and it has saved me quite a bit of money. When I make myself a cherry lime or Dr. Pepper, everyone else in the house thinks they need one too. I highly recommend this product if you have a fountain drink addiction like I do! It will pay for itself in a couple of months by saving me trips to Sonic for their drinks!Great workmanship and easy to use! This is very sturdy and durable product. I have been making Soda Stream water every day for about 12 years and this is the best quality soda maker I have found..I will start by saying my kitchen is filled with Kitchenaid products, I have never experienced a problem previouslyInitially, the product gave the impreesion of great quality, it seemed heavy and well built. In less than three months, there started to be some issues( this was during the Covid situation) my thought was this was due to the the C02 being low. I changed the cylindar, no good. I bought a brand new one......same story. I attempted to get a replacement, response was that the warranty was expired. I contacted the seller, they sent me the operating instructions and a trouble shooting guide.....they did not help. I contacted the seller again, they sent me the phone number for kitchenaid......the product is obselete, they do not support, stock supply parts or service for this..I recommend that you avoid this product. In reality paid $199.99 for a premium 3 month rental of this product. It is currently gathering dust, awaiting a further response from the seller.DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!makes really awesome sparkling water. great money/environmental saver. i noticed a bit of experimentation yields slightly different results--like filling not quite to the waterline makes more bubbles. little nuances but overall, easy peasy and great refreshing bubbles! They may no longer be making this style. Too bad. I love this model. Easy to use, easy to clean, easy to replace the cartridge.Great product, glad to get a refurbished item. Fail on the styrofoam. That crap is illegal in my town for a reason. Learn from Ikea, use some cardboard or something.
