I purchased this sheath for use with my large folding knife. The sheath is made from strong cowhide and is beautifully tooled in the design I chose. The stitching is solid. Both sides of the sheath are tooled so it can be carried for left or righthanded draw. It arrived very stiff, so I applied Kiwi Mink Oil salve to both sided, as well as, wrapping my large folding knife in wax paper (wax side out) and put it in the sheath. I placed the sheath in a plastic ziplock bag and stored it for two days. The process made a big difference in break-in time. I am now wearing the sheath to further break it in. I am extremely pleased with this item and would highly recommend it's purchase.
