With any air popper, some seeds will pop out, unpopped, but what I started doing is holding a wide, round, wooden spoon over the twirling seeds until they start popping. This way, no seeds escape and once there are a lot of seeds fully popped, I can remove the spoon and all the popcorn comes out into the bowl. This machine is great; it heats up fast (just make sure you have it on HEAT, and not the fan, (I just assumed there was there was on button and off button. But, there is a "fan" too. I am very happy with this purchase.
