I haven't really figured out the timing for a perfect runny yolk. 2 minutes on a large egg (which is really small even tho they call them large) and the yolk is hard. Less time the white is slimy. then I saw a cook strain a raw egg so that some of the funny white drains away and now the white is good but the yolk is hard. tomorrow I will try less time. I want it to look like the ad. a perfectly cooked poach with a runny yolk. Does anyone have any help. Did anyone figure it out?Can one really praise an egg poacher? This one make a perfect poached egg in the microwave in 75 seconds. The key here is the egg holding basket which sits in water and drains itself of water, leaving the egg poached in the most edible way possible. If that isn't good enough, the whole poacher is cleaned easily in the top of the dishwasher. It is a simple and better kitchen tool than expected.First off, there’s no instructions on how much water,” or how long to microwave. Read one persons comment that said to use hot water. I tried cold and hot and different microwave times. The problem is that the yolk always cooks before the egg whites’ so you end up with a hard boiled egg (sans shell) or an over cooked yolk and raw (partially clear) egg whites. Images I tried hot water it boiled over and out the container after 45 seconds in the microwave. Didn’t work for me, but maybe it would if there were instructions.Save your money.. DisapointingIt had no instructions as far as time and/or power. It took several tries, and several exploded eggs to finally get the timing right. Also, one side cooks faster than the other, by seconds. I'm serious.Works wellDon't buy. Did not work right. Yolk was over cooked and the whites were raw. The whites of the egg just ran all over. I returned it!! Worse purchase ever.Don't buy. Does NOT work!
