I got this because I was adding to my cat family and I wanted a toy that the cats would enjoy and would help to break the ice between them.It worked.It worked wonderfully.The youngest cat periodically carries the bee around with her, the wand dragging behind, and woe to her older brothers who try to play with it when she has it or has her eyes on it! The wire, for lack of a better descriptor, by which the bee is attached to the wand, is very thin but also strong. It doesn't get caught in anyone's teeth or between toes. It's sturdy, the bee flies wonderfully and almost in a lifelike manner. We're having a grand old time!
