Reminds me of growing up in my Italian household. My mom would always fire this up when we had "company" over! I also have childhood memories of seeing these in homes in Italy just about everywhere. The quality seems identical to the original ones from many years ago. The price is not bad either. But shop around. For some reason, the price fluctuates drastically for same exact item listed in different places on Amazon. Even for the ones sold and shipped from Amazon.Note: For all the Espresso "connoisseurs" out there, this will not give you a crema head at the top of your espresso shots if that's what you are looking for. This is just a traditional stovetop Espresso coffee pot. The water builds up pressure in the bottom chamber and pushes its way to the top as it passes through the espresso grounds. Even without the crema, the flavor is great if you use good quality (non-burnt) coffee beans ground correctly. You actually wind up pulling out a fairly dry puck when cleaning the pot. If it comes out really wet, you're doing something wrong. (Too coarse, or not packed tight enough.) Just my opinion...
