We didn’t even get a chance to put apples through it. We rinsed it with the hose after assembly in preparation for apples. Left to dry on the sun.Molded through the wood that week. All the wood.So, if regular water does that to the device, what would exposure to sugary fruit do?The design is right, but whatever wood is being used is not appropriate to damp tasks.
