Shake well and make sure you wet the tip with a good amount of paint by pushing the tip onto working surface hard enough for pen to cover tip and it will load with paint.I use green as a mechanic to date my repairs and filter changes . The green part identifies me because everyone at the garage knows green is my color.Awesome product will be ordering by the box from now on. It would be nice if the boss picked up the tab on them though. Lol
