Makes ice.Bottom try is flimsy and does not seal well to the top tray. Water will spill everywhere and is impossible to fill completely. It doesn't seal tightly so the balls aren't always complete. The ice comes out pretty easy. I haven't had issues like the lid freezing to the container like I thought I might. They are a bit smaller than a normal ice cube tray and don't transfer cold to your hands unless you have a high sensitivity (e g. Like if you have a fever and the chills, still more bearable than other models.)You poke the bottom of the tray and the ice comes right out with a small amount of force (read enough force that applied differently would open a door, so not a lot but it's not butter) The motion could be slightly painful to significant arthritis folks but you can just gently fold it backwards and get most of the ice. (Albeit with some mess.)The outer edge has a lip so it isn't a balancing act to make sure you don't spill them even if you fill them up completely. The lid tends to help seal the water in too. So unless you are choosing to shake them they don't really spill. The size of the ice cube is ideal for drinks, it can't quite fit in small mouth bottles but does generally fit into things like soda bottles well.I didn't try things like kool aid so I don't know if they stain bad.I liked them enough I bought it twice. My step dad loves them! :)Doesn't hold the water very well therefore unable to make cubesEasy to fill, easy to remove.I thought this would work out when I bought it to make extra ice when I needed it. The photo makes the cubes look large. They are tiny. Really tiny. You could fit the entire tray of finished ice cubes in one tall glass. Also when you fill the tray you have to fill each segment. It doesn’t carry over to the next one. Then you have to get this sloppy frame into your freezer. The top is also silicone so you have to carry it carefully to your freezer on a sturdy surface and make sure it is flat so it doesn’t spill. The tiny cubes come out easily though. My teen was entertained making ice for about 3 days, but overall not worth the money.Cool little ice cubes but not super easy to remove. They’re easy to pop out but they only pop like halfway out and don’t just fall out, I have to intentionally pull them out. The cubes are perfect though and small enough to put in a mug, glass, or most water bottles.
