These worked great for what I paid. We have had 2 of the sticks break when pulling them out and they are kind of tricky to clean, but I would buy them again. Just don't plan to be using them for years. They are fun for a few uses.I bought these rocket Popsicles super easy to use but when standing up they sometimes fall overMade fruit popsicles for the summertime. Just run under warm water to pop them out. They work great.I am happy with the Tovolo brand in general. I own several different Popsicle form styles (bug, star, ice cream cone, rocket, ring pop). I like the company's choice of plastic, durable quality and fun styles. I thought the price was a bit high; however, when I considered the quality and years I would get out of them, I was sold. As a mom, I like the forms that allow you to easily slip the popsicle back in if the form if/when your child wants to take a break from eating it. They all fit back in; however, some of them (rockets for example) only fit in the form one way. It is a bit tricky for my 2 1/2 yr old son to get the rocket pop back in the form and by the time he tries a few times, some of the wings have scraped off and made a little mess. The star and ice cream cone forms on the other hand are a cinch to slide the half eaten pop back in. Many people have said that the ring pops are too small; however, I knew they were going to be small when I bought them...they are ring pops and are supposed to be small. There are times I only want my son to have a small popsicle and they work perfect in those situations. He gets to choose which popsicle he wants and he does not seem to care about the size if it is his choice to pick the little one. Another thing I read about in reviews is the ability for the stick to "catch" drips. I have found that if you fill the form a little less than full that a gap remains between the popsicle and the base of the stick, which allows for the stick to catch the drips. Keep in mind that even if they are caught, they will still spill out when your child tips the popsicle at an angle. The form with the biggest reservoir for catching drips is the ice cream cone by far. All of that being said, if I had to choose a favorite shape, I couldn't do it...I like all of them. So far, my son has chosen the rocket the most, then it is a tie between the ice cream cone, the star and the ring pop. He has not yet picked the bug shape. I ordered my forms from Amazon and hoped that I would like them. I am pleased to say that I am incredibly happy with them! After I bought all of the ones I did, I found them at Whole Foods. So, if you are on the fence and wish you could get a closer look at them, check your local Whole Foods store to see if they carry them or can possibly get them. These molds are very well-made, and my three-year-old son LOVES them. He likes the rocket ship shape and that we can make all sorts of flavors. Of course, I don't tell him that our home made treats are healthier than most of the ones you buy in the store (we usually just use fruit juice), and he's none the wiser - yet. Here are some positives:- They can be removed one at a time.- Making popsicles at home us MUCH cheaper than purchasing them at a store.- The base and molds are extremely sturdy (much sturdier than they look in the image on Amazon)- The molds fit snugly into the base so they won't fall over.- The tops of the molds snap on, so they will not fall off easily when putting the mold tray in the freezer.- All parts are top rack dishwasher safe.A few very minor negatives:- The tops leak a tiny bit if you invert the molds before freezing, but then again, why would you do that?- The top have handles that have a slight indentation that collects a tiny bit of water in the dishwasher, but if you wash them by hand or place them just so in the top rack, this isn't a problem. And, a few tips:- If you use plain fruit juice, be aware that freezing takes away some of the sweetness, which could be compensated for by using juice that is slightly sweeter than normal.- Try using pudding instead of juice (we're vegan, so we've used vegan pudding), or even pureed fruit, which is healthier than juice.- Melted ice cream also works.- To remove the popsicles from the molds, run them under hot running water for a few seconds, then give the molds a jiggle and a squeeze, and they will remove just fine. All in all, these molds are wonderful, and we would definitely purchase them again.Overall I'm happy with the Tovolo Rocket Pop Molds. I tried them using grape juice and let them freeze for a few hours. The sticks did pop out when the pops weren't completely frozen, but after leaving them overnight to fully freeze, I didn't have that problem. You do have to run the pops under warm water to loosen them from the mold, but not to the point that they are melting. Once they release from the mold, they slide right out and the rocket shape is really well formed. The only downside to this product that I've experienced so far, is that the tray cracked the first time I used it. I pushed a little too hard to get the mold to stand upright in the tray and it cracked. It's still functional though, and I will just be more gentle when I'm putting the molds in the tray from now on. The other weird thing was the packaging. I got this as a gift for someone and I thought that it would come packed in a regular box like you see them at the store, but the molds and tray were just loose in a plastic bag, not in the original packaging. Other people have commented on the drip tray not working well. I find that I'm done eating the popsicle before it's really melted enough to fill the drip tray, so I haven't really had a problem with that.I liked the way they looked.Easy clean up.Wish the handle was replaceable.I place a large wooden sticks in the mold after putting aluminum foil as a top worked well enough.Bought these for making lollipops for the kids but ended up using them for freezing grown up cocktails during the hot weather we had this summer. Worked a treat and they are large enough for adult paws...you will need a bit of room in the freezer for the initial freezing process but once they are frozen you can remove them from the stand. Note, very strong cocktails don't freeze solid but do make nice slush!Brilliant, good quality and price. I looked a few weeks earlier and as it was out of season I couldn't find a suitable set that didn't have to come from abroad where the postage was more than the item. I was thrilled when this set appeared on Amazon. Thank you,Makes lollypops which are a nice size - great for my 3 year old. It is good that you do not have to defrost all of them, that they are all individual too. The only down side is that they are quite difficult to get out of the cases - they take a bit of hot water and tugging!I made lolly pops out of cordial and they were great I also tried milkshakes works greatonly thing you need to do is stand them up in the freezer as the tops don't seal tight enoughand be careful when putting them inGreat fun set and if you use different juices you can create lollies that look like the rockets lollies from ice cream vans.
