I bought these when I discovered a recipe for the sandwich... nay! Sammich of ultimate Glory! A nice soft roll made slightly toasty on a warming rack over the griddle plate, with hashbrown, bacon, sausage, egg and American cheese. Is your mouth watering? Well, you take the bacon grease from the griddle plate and drip it all over the hash browns.Anyway, these are necessary. You drop an egg white onto a griddle plate and it flows all over the place. These do allow for some of the white to spill out but do a great job, mostly, of keeping it all in one place until it solidifies so you can put it in the sammich. What I loved about them is that finger saving wee bit of cork on the top. This keeps you from being burned by the hot metal but it also lets you move them around if you need to. They are very easy to clean and so far, after an entire summer of using them, they havent stained. If I had one tiny complaint it is that once the eggs are cooked, I drop a slice of American cheese on them, and what tends to happen is the whole thing sticks to the metal ring, and you have to pry it off with a fork. Maybe that situation can be saved with some cooking spray but I usually forget. So something non stick, if thats possible, might have been better. But that doesn't take anything away from how much I love these
