The first pack received had a leaking pen so I contacted Amazon and they immediately sent a replacement with a request I return the first pack so I'm happy with that. As to the product my 9 year old daughter loves it. You need the 3D Magic maker which is not included which my daughter got for Christmas. A couple of issues I have with this dinosaur pack are 1) there isn't enough gel to make everything in the pack. 2 pens are included, I decided to try making the skeleton for my daughter and it took 3/4 pens. So the skeleton is multicoloured and if I hadn't ordered extra pens then I wouldn't have been able to complete it. I will be ordering more pens now so my daughter can use them. I honestly didn't think it would take so much! Once I had made all the bits needed I then had to put it together. This comes to issue 2) there is no instructions as to how the pieces go together! The picture on the box is not much help. I'm glad I did this without my daughter as there is no way she would have ever managed this on her own and it took me a good 3 hours (and a lot of stress) to work out how it went together. I'm pretty sure she won't be doing the skeleton again, she doesn't have the pens or the patience!! And the pens are not cheap! She loves creating things and making things with the magic maker but it's very short lived as the pens don't go very far. The big pack she got for Christmas had 3 pens and she had used them all within 2 days!!Basically good fun but make sure you have the 3D Magic maker as you can't use this pack without it. I would suggest buying extra pens too as they don't go very far.My granddaughter loved this product, good value for money.My son loves this he does struggle with the door opening and squeezing the tubes but it is a great itemit came really quick. I suppose it looks better on the tv adverts than when you have to do it yourself. it will keep my child amused for a whilecool stuff.if they like dinosaurs and have the 3d magic maker this is a must buy.
