I wanted a small compressor I could use for light mechanical and household duties. This De Walt model was perfect for me. Small enough it fits nicely in my garage, portable so I can move it outside when I need to. It fills up bike tires, car tires, runs my air tools and even has the pressure & capacity to blow out my irrigation lines for winterization! Its kind of loud when it runs, but nothing worse than many other power tools. I'm just my household handyman (I'm not a carpenter or any other trade) and I own an excellent air compressor that's perfect for my needs!Dewalt makes a good product and stands by them. This is an example of that. A good little 'home' compressor that gets the job done @ a fair price. I'd recommend it to anyone for the average home use.I do a small amount of DIY around the house, but use this for tools as well as minor maintenance on my motorcycle. This thing is holding up so far.Nice little portable air compressor. A little loud and the pressure dial is a little off. Says max pressure is 165 psi, but unit does not cut off until it shows 175 psi. It looks like it is going to work just find for my needs.NoisyEl producto es bueno , malos son los vendedores la entrega no es muy puntual se pasan con varios díasSi lo vas a comprar ten en cuenta que la entrega es tardíaIf you are working outside, the pump noise may not seem too loud, but if you are working inside, it seems pretty loud when you are near the unit in operation. It works as expected. If you don't keep a hose attached to it, it retains the tank pressure. Mine lost pressure with the hose attached with a spray nozzle attached. (probably not the tank/pump unit's fault. I'd recommend this to anyone who needs such a product. BTW, I plugged it in to my Jackery 1500 and it drew too much power for the Jackery to be able to power it, so it ran for a few seconds and then shut off. If you are going to use this with a portable power supply make sure it has a high wattage capacity, (certainly over 1500 watts).Super fast shipping, DeWalt quality, Good so far but time will tell.its a little bulky because its round which can make it feel heavier then the 30 lbs it is ... I still find its easy to handle ... noise not bad (75.5 db) much less then my Makita 4 gallon twin tank model also a lot lighter the main reason for buying this unit .. for smaller inside jobs will be using this one for sure ... I ran my framing nailer no problem .. did some interior walls ... also have done roofing and it kept up with both guns .... didn't run much either with 6 gallon tank and 165 psi tank pressure doesn't need to. Unit is oil Free so you can sit it on an angle if needed and u don't have to worry about it burning up the pump because there is no oil. Keep it in clear area with good air flow and I think this will last a long time ... it does have a fan that blows past the pump to keep it cool .. if your pushing it ... you will get hot air blowing off the fan so good air flow is important. Takes about 3 minutes from empty to fill up and you will get a burn smell the first time. The product arrives damaged, the output valve has been hit and the control panel is not straight. The compressor vibrates like crazy and move on the ground by itself because of the vibration by around 1 inch per sec on a concrete floor. This feel like a very low quality product and I am debating if I will return it!Oh and the Db rating is listed at 75.5 Db on the site and 78.5 Db is what the box said !Finally tank was leaking so I asked for a replacement, the new one had the exact same problem !I received an used one... but let’s put that aside. The air compressor is well built, being a Dewalt. The 165psi is somewhat accurate as when i opened the valve to evacuate the air pressure for returning the used product, it shots shrapnels into my hand... yes micro bit of metals and debris. That is why, you’d never want to blow air on you or your face. The biggest complaint i have is, it isn’t 75.5 dB like it claims it is. It’s actually around 89-90 dB, tested with Decibel X app, which is tremendously loud. I swapped my Mastercraft for this because it was too noisy for in-house usage. But, this unit takes the cake in loudness, it was so loud that everything nearby starts to shake. If you truly want something quiet, well, look elsewhere. But, if the noise volume is not an issue, this thing will do the job just fine for what it is.Excelente compresor, funciona bien para pintar, ya lo probé pintando el portón de mi casa, hay que dejarlo descansar cada 15-20 min, me quedó muy bien. Tambien sirve para sopletear, inflar llantas, y mantiene la presion durante la noche. Fue una excelente compra y lo recomiendo ampliamente, lo unico que no me gusta es que es ruidoso.
